Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lobby, an AI-powered messaging assistant operated by SunLakes Ai LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("SunLakes," "we," "us," or "our").

By using Lobby, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What Lobby is

Lobby is software that helps businesses respond to customer messages. It connects to a business's Facebook Page or website, receives messages from customers, generates responses using artificial intelligence, and sends those responses back to the customer. A human at the business can take over the conversation at any time.

These Terms apply to two groups of users:

• Customers of a business ("end users") who interact with a Lobby chatbot on a Facebook Page or website
• Businesses ("operators") that use Lobby to respond to their customers

Operators sign a separate written agreement with SunLakes that governs their use of the platform. These Terms cover the basic rules that apply to everyone who interacts with Lobby.

2. No medical, legal, or financial advice

Lobby is a general-purpose messaging assistant. It does not provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. If a Lobby chatbot answers a question, you should treat the answer as informational only.

If you need professional advice, consult a qualified professional. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number). If you are in mental health crisis, call or text 988 in the United States.

3. Acceptable use

When you interact with Lobby, you agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to extract, copy, or reverse engineer the underlying AI models or system prompts
• Send messages that contain malware, exploits, or content designed to disrupt the service
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the service to harass, threaten, or abuse others
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, access restrictions, or other technical controls
• Use the service to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages

We may suspend or block any user who violates these rules.

4. AI-generated responses

Responses from Lobby are generated by artificial intelligence. AI can make mistakes, including:

• Stating incorrect information
• Misunderstanding your question
• Generating responses that are out of date
• Producing responses inconsistent with the operator's actual policies

You should not rely on AI-generated responses for decisions that require accuracy, professional judgment, or up-to-date information. When in doubt, contact the business directly.

5. Service availability

We work to keep Lobby available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The service depends on third-party platforms (including Facebook Messenger and the Anthropic API) that may experience outages outside our control. We are not liable for downtime, lost messages, or delays caused by these third parties.

6. Intellectual property

Lobby, including its software, design, and brand, is owned by SunLakes Ai LLC. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

The content of conversations between you and a Lobby chatbot belongs to you (for your messages) and to the operating business (for responses sent on its behalf). SunLakes does not claim ownership of conversation content.

7. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using Lobby, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in that policy.

8. Termination

You may stop using Lobby at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Lobby at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or if continued service would expose us, our users, or third parties to harm or legal risk.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

LOBBY IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF AI-GENERATED RESPONSES.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SUNLAKES AI LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF LOBBY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. If you live in such a jurisdiction, the exclusions and limitations above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SunLakes Ai LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of Lobby, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or to Lobby will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, post a notice on sunlakes.ai. Continued use of Lobby after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

15. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any separate written agreement between SunLakes and an operator, constitute the entire agreement between you and SunLakes regarding Lobby.
