This Privacy Policy describes how SunLakes AI Labs LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), operator of the Missly service ("Missly"), collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our SMS and voice receptionist services.

1. Information We Collect

From Business Clients

When a business signs up for Missly, we collect business name, owner contact information, business phone numbers, business hours, services offered, and knowledge base content the business provides for their AI receptionist.

From Consumers (End Users)

When a consumer calls a Missly-powered business or opts in via our web form, we may collect:

• Phone number
• Name (if voluntarily provided)
• Email address (if voluntarily provided)
• Content of SMS messages exchanged with the business
• Voice call recordings and transcripts, when voice receptionist features are used
• Appointment details if an appointment is booked

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Deliver SMS responses and voice interactions on behalf of the business the consumer contacted
• Book and confirm appointments requested by the consumer
• Process opt-out requests (STOP) and help requests (HELP)
• Provide service analytics and support to the business client
• Comply with legal obligations and carrier requirements

3. SMS Messaging Information

We do not share SMS opt-in information or phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Phone numbers collected for SMS messaging are used only to deliver messages from the specific business the consumer opted in to communicate with.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

• With the business client: Messages, calls, and appointment details are accessible to the business the consumer contacted.
• With service providers: We use third-party infrastructure (Twilio for SMS delivery, Vapi for voice services, Neon for database hosting, Railway for application hosting, Anthropic for AI processing) that process data solely to deliver our service under contractual confidentiality obligations.
• For legal compliance: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property.

5. Data Retention

We retain consumer message content, call recordings, and transcripts for the period necessary to provide the service to the business client, typically 24 months, or until the consumer requests deletion or the business terminates service, whichever occurs first.

6. Your Rights and Choices

• Opt out of SMS: Reply STOP to any message to immediately stop further messages from that business.
• Request help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance.
• Access or delete your data: Email privacy@sunlakes.ai to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information.
• California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Contact us at the email above to exercise those rights.

7. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Missly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the Effective Date above and, where appropriate, by notifying users directly.
